Annual Health Information Conference 2020
Date: Friday 16th October 2020
Location: TBC
Time: 9.30-4pm

DETAILS COMING SOON!

Dear Colleague,

We are delighted to invite you to attend our 7th annual, African-Caribbean Health Information Conference, (ACHIC), focusing on the health concerns of the African-Caribbean patient.

ACHIC events recognise the prevalent health concerns that affect this patient group, and are

designed to highlight, and address any educational and management difficulties health care professionals might find when providing care. Whether in a primary, intermediate, secondary, or community setting, our aim is to promote and support the delivery of good quality and management of care.

Each conference will focus on some of the major clinical considerations and co-morbidities of conditions that typically affect a large number of African-Caribbean people, and discuss how best

these might be approached and managed, from a physiological, psychological and a pharmaceutical viewpoint. We will also consider some of the key situations in which our own mind-set, and that of our peers, can influence our engagement and success with our patients.
